Ah, things were back to normal.
Wait. Sai was yelling?

“SAAAAAAAI!” Kaworu came flying out of his room, locks hissing open, and he collided with his older brother like a guided missile. “You’re home you’re home I missed youuuuuuu.”
“EH! Kaworu! Stop acting like a kid! I heard the news shortstuff! C’mer c’mere, how short are you?”Sai snatched his brother up in a bearhug, intent on squeezing the air out of him. “Holy crap! You’re like a foot taller! No wonder you have a girlfriend! What’s her name?”
Kaworu blushed furiously. “Not just girlfriend,” he said haughtily, “I’ve already chosen Tani as my mate.”
Sai squeezed harder, glee on his face.
“Awright Jeez! Leggo, you ass!” Kaworu struggled against him, fearing for his bones. “Jeez! Let go, you’re such a bully! Ow ow ow!”
“War, my brother. Not pretty, but hey, I’m buff now.” He released his sibling with a chuckle, then shot a wary glance at Kalio. “We’ll talk about this later.”
“What, she won’t go out with you?” Kaworu teased, completely misunderstanding the situation. “Aw, well,  I guess you can’t be as awesome as me.”
“Hey hey, I wouldn’t say you’re awesome. She’s a little young to start child-bearing, eh? Only what, thirteen?”
“Not that young.” Kaworu looked at him stubbornly. “And she agreed to it. So ha.”
“Ha indeed. I won’t help you take care of your spawn. Disappointing, Kaworu. Tsk tsk.” Sai shook his head. Kalio glared at him, and he gave her a ‘ohshit’ look. He looked at Kaworu, then Kalio, then winced.
“I will have my way, Sai. And you can either accept that or lose your balls.”
Sai made a horrified sound. She was completely serious. Kaworu made a sympathetic noise.
“I’m gone, she scares me.” Kaworu whispered. “I- I’m going to go see Tani okay bye.”
The look on Sai’s face screamed ‘TAKE ME WITH YOU!!!’ but Kaworu turned his back, sympathy fighting feebly against fear. It lost.
“Coward,” Kalio muttered. “ “Sai I’m coming with you.”
“You are not.” Sai said stubbornly. He sat back in his chair and gave her a lazy look.
“Yes I am.” Kalio shot back, just as determined.
“No, you aren’t.” Sai gave her an irritated look.
Kalio glared back. “I am.”
“You aren’t.”
“I am.”
“You’re not. It’s too dangerous.”
“I am going to start a revolution, dammit. I’m going with you.” Kalio’s chin jutted forward stubbornly. “End of story.”
They eyed each other for several minutes. Sai crossed his arms over his chest. Kalio flipped her hair nonchalantly. Sai let out an overly dramatic sigh. Kalio coughed loudly.
“No.” Sai said finally.
Kalio leapt on the opportunity. “I said end of story.”
“You’re stupid sometimes.”
“EXCUSE  ME!” Kalio jumped out of her seat, giving him a Look. Her hands clenched into fists at her sides.
Sai raised an eyebrow, not moving an inch. “You’re excused.”
“Argh!” Kalio would have, if she had been more easily prone to drama, thrown her hands up in the air. However, since she was deadly serious, she didn’t budge. “I’m going.”
“You’re staying!” Sai leaned forward in his seat, starting to show less irritation and more desperation.
“Going!”
“Staying!”
“Going!”
“Sitting your fat ass down!”
“You son of a bitch!”
“Sit down and stay here!”
“NO!”
“AAAAARGH!”
“I’m going.’
“No.”
“Yes.” There was an odd glint in Kalio’s bright blue eyes, something that was making Sai uncomfortable. He was not letting her get in any sort of danger.
“No.”
“Yes.”
“No.”
“Yesssss.”
Sai felt his eye twitch slightly. “Kalio.”
“Sai.” She shot back calmly, back to her icy determination.
“No.”
“Yes.”
“Argh! Please!”
Kalio turned around, bent over, and waved her rear at him. “Going.”
Sai looked away, refusing to be caught. “N-no. You’re staying.”
He knew he’d lost.
“Go-iiiiing.”
Sai flinched. Kalio grinned at him over her shoulder.
“I am going and that is final.”
“Kali!”
“This conversation is over.”
“But Kal-“
“OVER!”
Sai closed his mouth with a sullen look. That shitty bitch had just won.
